Scientific reason behind getting Mundan Sanskar done after the birth of a child. Actually, when the child is in the mother's womb, then some of the hair pores of its head get closed. Which is not good for the health of the child and it does not open even after bathing the child. In such a situation, when the child is shaved and all the hair on his head is cut off. Then all the dirt gets cleaned from the head.

दरअसल, जब बच्चा माँ के गर्भ में होता है, तब उसके सिर के कुछ रोम छिद्र (Hair Pores) बंद हो जाते हैं। जो बच्चे के स्वास्थ्य के लिए सही नहीं है और यह बच्चे के स्रान करने से भी नहीं खुलते हैं। ऐसे में जब बच्चे का मुंडन होता है और उसके सिर के सारे बाल काट दिए जाते हैं। तब सिर से सारी गंदगी साफ़ हो जाती है।
