What is the reason for the popularity of IPL?
The reason behind this is the contract between BCCI and Indian players, in which no Indian player can play in any league other than IPL. This is because the craze for Indian players is all over the world. And if they play outside league, then IPL will get direct competition from it. That's why BCCI never allows Indian players to play in other leagues. And that's why all the franchisees of IPL also spend a lot of money on Indian cricketers.

इसके पीछे की वजह है, BCCI और इंडियन players के बीच का contract, जिसमे कोई भी indian player, IPL के अलावा, दूसरी कोई भी league नहीं खेल सकता। ऐसा इसलिए है क्योंकि indian players का क्रेज पूरी दुनिया में है। और अगर वो बाहर की league खेलेंगे तो, इससे सीधे IPL को ही competition मिलेगा। इसलिए BCCI कभी भी इंडियन players को दूसरी league नहीं खेलने देता है। और तभी तो आईपीएल की सभी फ्रेंचाइजी भी, indian cricketers पर अच्छा खासा पैसा खर्च करती है।
